Bolinas Weekend. A New Sun

Bolinas is such a beautiful little town, hidden in a tucked away strip of coast just north of Stinson Beach. We decided to spend a day here at the beach with Gus, to practice my long boarding skills and also to let out my frustration with long boards, particularly the board that I was using.
Little kids were swarming the waters with their tiny boards, bumping around from wave to wave. This is a perfect place to take our kids to someday, and we will when our girl or boy decides to brave the waters on a foam board. Speaking of board, perhaps that is what I need. A foam board. :) I hope to return here someday soon to get on the waves some more- just you watch! We ended our beautiful day with some fish n chips at 'Coast Cafe', the only restaurant in town. It was the best i have had in a while.

What a wonderful sunny day to remind us of the life that currently surrounds us and that we are both actively a part of already. I am finding my days easier and easier to enjoy, and am somewhat rebounding to my normal self. I'm cautious about 'plans', as Colin and I both know our plans may change if we get pregnant again soon, but in the meantime, I have been on a spontaneous kick, one after another. There are so many things that, within a month until we 'try again' I would like to re-live. Maybe a glass of wine? Maybe that favorite latte I used to get at starbucks? Maybe seafood that I don't have to check to see if i can eat it or not.

I am finding the comfort in friends, in their company, in helping to rebound to the Joan & Colin days. I know that soon we'll have a little one to include in our plans again, but we'll patiently await when that happens again.

I'm really looking forward to our (long) Lost Coast backpacking trip!
