I also learned that I am slightly Anemic, according to the hemoglobin blood draw that was taken at the same time. That means i have to take iron supplements every other day. I was kind of shocked because, seeing as I eat a lot of veggies and leafy greens, I thought I was all good with the nutrition. It turns out my iron count is below the standard- and if I am anemic during pregancy it means i can become fatigued, get headaches, lose sleep (oh, you mean it wasn't just her nightly kicking keeping me up?), have a lack of appetite, and become out of breath.
So Colin sent me a link to a vegetarian's Info sheet on Iron and I learned about Iron Absorption, sources of iron in both animal and plant foods, and what are good sources that are high in iron.

Well, sign me up for iron supplements, and some museliand Bran flakes, and while we're at it, let's get some In N Out!
