We went to Liam's pediatrician for his 2 yr checkup. Kirra came with us and in the car ride she said: are they going to take blood from him? I explained that today we were not going to do that but other times we do. Kirra explained that she wanted to help Liam be brave. I thanked her for being so thoughtful to her little brother.
Today at Liam's daycare Gigi took Kirra in as her preschool is closed for the week for their vacation. Gigi said that today Kirra was protective of Liam, (which I wonder I'd she meant bossy? Telling him what to do?) And Gigi also said that Liam did not act himself. He was more whiney and probably showed the side if Liam that kicks in when he has to compete for attention when he is around Kirra because that is certainly how he is with me at home when Kirra and he are together. I keep wondering if they will ever outgrow it- should I ignore and let them handle their personal and survival methods or do I insert my self with support and clarification to avoid fiat fights and crying?
Anyway, at the dr Everything was brief and Liam was a cooperative fellow. He weighs 27 pounds. Is 36inches tall. Head circumference is 51cm.
