Mom's Back to Work!

This is my first week back at work at Google- and I have it pretty good. I am working 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) in the SF office, joining a new department and new team that's all located in Detroit, Michigan.
While at work Kirra is at a family-run daycare in our neighborhood, a Filipino family with a helper. I feel pretty good about her being there because Kirra is so easy going. I did try my best to wean her from swaddling (did not work out so much, so she is still swaddled now), I succeeded for the most part at bottle-feeding (has to still be warm bottle, and you have to hold it for her), and she started solids (but in the past week she's starting to shake her head as if to say 'No' while eating.. hmm so you don't want to eat?). So I think we did pretty good so far getting her to be more manageable for a daycare to take care of her.

Here is my new seat with a welcome back sign (and gorgeous view of the bay bridge!), and the kid's beanie that my team sent for Kirra.
