"Dont you just sleep when the babies sleep?"

The answer to this question is: No.

For the past 4 months kirra has been waking in the early morning and coming into our bed. A couple months after that Liam joined her in her room and the nighttime shift for who gets kirra turned into double duty. One got kirra and the other parent got crying liam. It didn't stop just there. Only a couple hours after that liam would wake again for a bottle and sometimes not even go back to sleep . so for the past 2-3 weeks Liam's waking time has been 5am. Sometimes its at 4am w a short 30 min snooze.

Brutal. Just brutal!
If I don't sleep at 9pm that leaves me worthless at work the next day (I have dozed or nodded at my desk!) And I am seriously a coffee fiend. I have one cup a day but sometimes two.

During the afternoon on my days off I love that one-two hour nap time overlap - when kirra sleepa from 1:45-4:30 and liam from 3-4:30. I try to nap but I always busy myself with something. Today it was installing a  babyproofing latch on the silverware drawer, which was not baby proofed thus far

Earlier in the week I organized and donates books from our bookshelf in the living room. Now the bookshelf has the whole bottom row open to put toys in bins. I need better bins tho.
