This weekend was uneventful... except that Kirra and liam both were successful on the potty! It started with liam on Thursday who let me put him on the potty after dinner (Kirra called him out when he was making faces at the dinner table). He stayed on the potty, imitating my pushing sounds, and he totally went! We did a happy dance and he flushed the (Princess themed) potty, which makes the sound of a magic wand. (their aunt Cintya bought that for Kirra to help motivate her to use the potty).
Thursday:
Then starting on Saturday we kept the diaper off of Kirra and only reminded her about how she was diper-less. She actually listened and volunteered herself to use the toilet, for #1 and #2 all the time!!! No accidents at all. I put a pull-up on her during her naps but those were dry; overnight pullups had pee in them.. we will work on that - perhaps we need to take down her crib rail so she can go in&out on her own to use the restroom.

I stopped taking photos of the poop after Kirra did all #2's in the potty, but as you can see she is very pleased with herself. As are we!
Perfect timing as today was her 1st day of school, and we sent her off in underwear (and clothing too of course!). Perhaps Kirra was motivated by preschool starting? Perhaps seeing/hearing about how Liam pooped in the potty made her feel like she could do it if he was?
We are so proud of her! of them both!~
