37 weeks 3 days belly

This past weekend Colin and I (plus Gus) had a date day in Half Moon Bay and all over that coastline in the Peninsula. We stopped for a surf session in a secret spot (Colin won't let me disclose of the name because he doesn't want the locals to come after him). The weather was so nice for Fall- and much better than the fog and rain that has been hovering over San Francisco lately. We nibbled on a Pumpkin Muffin while taking photos of Gus playing with some dogs, and testing out a Canon lens Darryl let me borrow for my 7D. After some surf we shared a slice of homemade pumpkin pie & at Swanton Berry Farm, where we usually pick up some Ollalieberry pie. To finish a scrumptious day we shared Clam Chowder and a lobster roll at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay (said to be one of America's Top 5 Sandwiches by the NBC Today's Show). It was mighty yummy.

I miss daytrips like this especially because Colin and I usually spend all our weekends over the summer outside of SF (bc it's usually foggy in the city). But with all the baby prep, classes, appointments and errands we haven't had many free weekends to enjoy the outdoors. We're carefully making every spent day like first dates. We won't be alone anymore after miss baby bogart enters our world!
