External Version Success!

Today we went to CPMC Hospital for scheduled External Cephalic Version, where an Ultrasound Technician and a perinatal Doctor manually manipulated my belly to push Bambina's butt out of my pelvis while simultaneously pushing her head down in an attempt to turn her. It took all of 30 seconds to do this, thankfully, and it did feel quite unusual. A lot of pressure and when she moved I could feel her move from top to bottom, side to side. Now that she is in head-down position, I am very much reassured when I feel the tapping in my upper belly (by my ribs) that those are kicks rather than head jabs.

No more headstands, uncomfortable bladder 67 stimulation to the pinky toes, reclining on an ironing board and getting head rushes and headaches.... now it's on to being gravity positive, lots of walking and squatting. Because she was in head-up position more recently (and for some time), we could see that she had a very round head. Hope she can get settled down there with her head down and find the 'Exit' route fast!

Colin and I are really happy now :)
