Kirra is smiling a lot in the past week. In fact, these smiles crept in her sleep earlier when she was a newborn, and then popped up randomly when she looked at us at around week 6. By week 8 you knew for sure your own smile caught on because she would put on a grin of her own in return.
Nowadays, when she wakes up, she smiles with a toot (or two or three). After a feeding, another smile. She returns a smile from dad or me often, making our own smiling that much more fun. What a reward to find the little one silently laughing, a huge open mouth grin, for any reason at all. Here Kirra is in her trendy Tea Collection outfit (Thanks Cristina!) along with some smiles to complete the poses.
Oh and I also started uploading videos of kirra on my youtube channel
because I had too many compiled on my phone and needed to get them off. Now that she is smiling and (silently) laughing, I am recording her all the time!
I also have some good long clips recorded on the Flip Camera Iku gave me for my birthday, which holds up to 60 minutes of recording time. What my job as a mom has been lately besides taking care of Kirra: being the filmer, photographer, producer and editor of Documenting Baby Kirra's Growing Days. This stuff sucks up lots of time!
