Adventures in Bottle Feeding

This week I did what i should have tried a long time ago: swapped out the bottle nipple from level 1 to level 2. Duh!

Kirra chugged her milk in a bottle all at once, and I was the one giving it to her!

For the past few weeks we've been dream feeding at 10:30/11:00pm. This means we get her our if her crib in her room, still asleep, and feed her. You could Breast feed or bottle feed. Since we've been trying to get her to take a bottle we noticed that if we fed her a bottle in a dream feed, she took it all. She is too sleepy to notice. So now Colin can take part in feedings again.

The newest bottle she's been interested in: my camelbak water bottle with rubber mouth piece. Kirra reaches for it, holds the bottle with my help and she will put the mouthpiece in her mouth. She chews on it but I don't think she knows to suck yet. Maybe time for her sippy cup? I'll try that next.
