Our Own Veggie Garden

I've neglected to mention at all that we have our very own Veggie garden! Colin built a 8' x 4' raised bed/planter box for vegetables. This past February we planted a bunch of seedlings including : arugula, radicchio, escarole, green leaf/red leaf lettuces, cilantro, chives, pak choy, mustard greens, broccoli, Chard, and peas.

Between the constant rain from a couple weeks ago and the nice welcome of rewarding sun and warm days, our veggie garden is blossoming - just like Kirra. We eat salad from freshly picked greens and I make my sandwiches using lettuce from the yard. Colin is already thinking about box #2!
